ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's cross country team will compete in the MIAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31 at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. The Scots, who are currently ranked eighth in the North Region, are looking to improve upon their fourth-place finish at the conference meet last year.
Senior
Ingrid Norquist (Minneapolis, Minn./Anoka) has led the team in every race this season and has first-place finishes at the Ole Opener Sept. 4 and the Toni St. Pierre Invitational on Sept. 18. An All-MIAC honoree last year with a sixth-place finish at this event in 2025, Norquist was All-Region and qualified for the NCAA Championships. Junior
Kate Fox (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt), who was 10th a year ago and ninth in 2024 at the MIAC Championships, has been the Scots' No. 2 runner in all four races this fall. She also earned All-Region honors and competed in the national meet last fall.
First year
Lucia Williams (Corvallis, Ore./Corvallis) was one of the Scots' top-5 runners at each event, and was the team's third runner twice. Senior
Samantha Ellis (Intervale, N.H./Gould Academy) also has scored in every meet this fall and took 12th overall at the Toni St. Pierre Invitational. Sophomore
Aubrey Jensen (Floresville, Texas) has been in Macalester's top-4 finishers in each of the past three meets, while junior
Kyra Morris (Pacific Palisades, Calif./Palisades Charter) was the team's fifth runner at the Ole Opener and the sixth runner at the Augustana Interregional on Oct. 17. At last year's conference meet, Ellis was 32nd, senior
Ivy Coldren (Frederick, Md./Urbana) was 34th and Jensen finished in 50th place.
