ST. PAUL, Minn. – Seventeen members of the Macalester College softball team earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete status for the 2024-25 academic year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced today. As a team, the Scots posted a grade point average of 3.700 to rank 26th among Division III teams.
In order to be named an All-America Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. Macalester's All-America Scholar-Athletes are

Maddie Molay (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North); rising juniors

Rebecca Heinze (Rosemount, Minn./Prescott),
Callia Holland (Akron, Ohio/Hawken),
Alli Johnson (Waukee, Iowa/Northwest),

This year 9,199 student-athletes were honored with Scholar-Athlete status across NCAA, NAIA and junior college institutions, including 2,565 Division III student-athletes.
