ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College junior Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) was selected to the NCAA Division III All-Region Team for Region 3/Central Region by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), the organization announced today. This is the second straight year on the All-Region Team for Lengfelder, who was named to her third All-MIAC team earlier this week.

Lengfelder placed sixth at the MIAC Championships on Sept. 28-30. Her three-round score of 232 that included a 73 in the first round is the second-lowest three-round score in the program's history. In the season opener, Lengfelder shot a 70 at the Crown Dual to set the school record for lowest round. She ended up tying that record at the Gustie Spring Invite this spring en route to finishing second in that event, one week after taking third at the Wartburg Spring Invite with a two-round school record of 145. Over 20 rounds and 10 events this season, Lengfelder maintained a stroke average of 76.7, the lowest average of her three seasons at Macalester.

Lengfelder's performance at the MIAC Championships last fall helped the Scots take fourth in the team standings and tie the school record for a three-round tournament with a score of 965.
