HASTINGS, Minn. – The Macalester College men's golf team faced Gustavus in a dual Saturday and Sunday at Emerald Greens. The Gusties won the dual with a score of 604, compared to the Scots' score of 634.
Junior
Harry Cheng (Taipei, Taiwan/Heping Municipal) carded the lowest score for Macalester, taking third with a two-round score of 79 72 - 151. First year
Liam Sarmiento (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman) placed ninth with a 158, followed by junior
Ben d'Entremont (Cranston, R.I./Moses Brown School) in 10th (161) and first year
Aaron Cheng (Mountain View, Calif./Taipei American School) in 11th (164) to round out the Scots' top four.
Macalester will compete at the Bobby Krig Invitational, hosted by Gustavus, on April 18-19 at LeSueur Country Club.
