ST. PAUL, Minn. – First year guard Noah Hamburge (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnehaha Academy) was named the MIAC Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending on Nov. 30, the conference announced today. Hamburge led the Scots to an impressive 88-81 victory at UW-River Falls last Tuesday.

Hamburge came off the bench to spark Macalester's offense with a career-high 20 points, 14 of which came in the first half. He made 5-of-6 from three-point range and was 7-of-10 from the field overall in his best game as a Scot to date. Hamburge, who tallied his 20 points in 23 minutes of playing time, also added a pair of steals on the defensive end.

Hamburge has played in all seven games for Macalester this season, averaging 6.9 points per game while shooting 11-of-33 from beyond the arc. His previous career high was 13 points in a victory over Grinnell on Nov. 15.

The Scots begin MIAC play on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Bethel University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Arden Hills, Minn.
