ST. PAUL, Minn. – This weekend, the Macalester baseball team kicks off the 2024 season. The Scots head to California to compete four games. Macalester will play University of Minnesota-Morris on Feb and California Institute of Technology on Feb 24. The Scots play twice on Feb 25, taking on University of Minnesota-Morris again and California Lutheran. Macalester then heads to Arizona for the Tucson Invitational March 9-16.
When the Scots return, they play their home-opener, hosting Bethel in a doubleheader on March 30 for its first MIAC game of the season. Game one will begin at 1:00 pm. To kick off April, the Scots play Northwestern (MN) on April 2 on the road. The second game between the two sides will be April 24 at Nicholson. Other non-conference opponents this season include University of Wisconsin Superior on April 10 and Bethany Lutheran on April 18. The Scots conclude the regular season at home on May 1 against Saint John's.
