PRIOR LAKE, Minn. – The Macalester College men's golf team opened the 2023 fall season with a narrow loss to Crown College, 326-336 in a dual Friday morning at The Wilds Golf Club. Sophomore
Brady Thomas (Apple Valley, Minn./Shattuck-Saint Mary's School) led the Scots with a score of 82 to tie for third individually.
Next for Macalester was junior
Sean Sebrey (Union, Maine/Medomak Valley) in fifth with an 84, followed by sophomores
Ben d'Entremont (Cranston, R.I./Moses Brown School) and
Sean Maxfield (Washington, D.C./School Without Walls), who tied for sixth with an 85. Sophomore
Julian Rodriguez (Carolina, Puerto Rico/University Gardens) placed 10th to close out the Scots' lineup.
Macalester competes in the two-round Augsburg Fall Invite Sept. 2-3 at Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake, Minn.
