32nd Annual Mac Hac - Thursday, June 8, 2023

The Macalester College Department of Athletics invites you take part in our 32nd annual Mac Hac Golf Fundraiser on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Prestwick Golf Club at Wedgewood, located in Woodbury. This year, in honor of our student-athletes, proceeds from the Mac Hac will go to Funds for Excellence, which assists our expanding efforts to support the whole student-athlete through nutrition, sports psychology services, leadership development, recruiting efforts and much more. Come join alumni, parents, staff and friends for a day of great golf, fun, food and prizes.

Schedule
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.: Registration and lunch
12:00 p.m.: Shotgun start; Four-person scramble
5:00 p.m.: Dinner and awards

Registration
Individual: $175
Foursome: $700
Registration includes: Macalester gift, deli style lunch, greens fees, golf cart, range balls, one mulligan, on course events and post-golf dinner.

Hole Sponsor: $350

All-American Sponsor: $500
Includes: An individual registration, Macalester gift, deli style lunch, beverage ticket, greens fees, golf cart, range balls, one mulligan, on-course activities and post-golf cookout; sponsor's name and logo prominently displayed at one of the eighteen holes and included in the event program and Mac Hac website.

Scot Sponsor: $1,000
Includes: A foursome registration, Macalester gift, deli style lunch, beverage ticket, greens fees, golf cart, range balls, one mulligan, on-course activities and post-golf cookout; sponsor's name and logo prominently displayed at one of the eighteen holes and included in the event program and Mac Hac website.

Donations
If you aren't a golfer or can't make it to the Mac Hac, you can still make a donation to support athletics at Macalester. Go to the Support Macalester Athletics page and select the program you would like to support, or select 'Macalester Fund: All Athletics' to make a contribution to all programs.

On-Course Activities
Scramble: The scramble uses at least one drive from each person on a team. All players hit from the best shot - the ball may be placed within one club length no nearer the hole and under the same condition. Mulligans can be used for any shot (except to win a prize). The team will record one score for each hole on the designated scorecard. Men will play from the white tees, while women and seniors over 70 will play from the red tees. Prizes will be awarded for the top three team scores. In addition to the golf scramble, many fun on-course hole contests will be conducted (longest drives, closest to the pin, closest to the gin etc.).

The Course
Prestwick Golf Club at Wedgewood is one of the Twin Cities' premier public golf courses. The 18-hole, par 72 championship course was ranked as a Top 3 public course experience in Minnesota by the Star Tribune, and is a 4.5-star facility, according to Golf Digest.
