Mac Hac Golf Fundraiser

31st Annual Mac Hac - Tuesday, June 7, 2022

The Macalester College Department of Athletics invites you take part in our 31st annual Mac Hac Golf Fundraiser on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Prestwick Golf Club at Wedgewood, located in Woodbury. This year, in honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, proceeds from the Mac Hac will go to the Beyrer Fund, an endowment which supports varsity athletics at Macalester in the areas of special travel, engagement, and educational and professional development opportunities for coaches, student-athletes and staff. Come join alumni, parents, staff and friends for a day of great golf, fun, food and prizes.

Schedule
11:30 a.m.: Registration and lunch (ends promptly at 12:15 p.m.)
12:30 p.m.: Shotgun start; Four-person scramble
5:00 p.m.: Cookout on the patio and awards

Registration
Individual: $175
Foursome: $700
Registration includes: Macalester gift, deli style lunch, greens fees, golf cart, range balls, one mulligan, on course events and post-golf cookout.

Hole Sponsor: $350
Includes: Sponsor's name and logo prominently displayed at one of the eighteen holes and included in the event program and Mac Hac website.

All-American Sponsor: $500
Includes: An individual registration, Macalester gift, deli style lunch, beverage ticket, greens fees, golf cart, range balls, one mulligan, on-course activities and post-golf cookout; sponsor's name and logo prominently displayed at one of the eighteen holes and included in the event program and Mac Hac website.

Scot Sponsor: $1,000
Includes: A foursome registration, Macalester gift, deli style lunch, beverage ticket, greens fees, golf cart, range balls, one mulligan, on-course activities and post-golf cookout; sponsor's name and logo prominently displayed at one of the eighteen holes and included in the event program and Mac Hac website.

Donations
If you aren't a golfer or can't make it to the Mac Hac, you can still make a donation to support women's athletics at Macalester. Go to the Support Macalester Athletics page and select the women's program you would like to support, or select 'Macalester Fund: All Athletics' to make a contribution to all women's programs.

On-Course Activities
Scramble: The scramble uses at least one drive from each person on a team. All players hit from the best shot - the ball may be placed within one club length no nearer the hole and under the same condition. Mulligans can be used for any shot (except to win a prize). The team will record one score for each hole on the designated scorecard. Men will play from the white tees, while women and seniors over 70 will play from the red tees. Prizes will be awarded for the winner of each flight (Championship, Blue and Orange). In addition to the golf scramble, many fun on-course hole contests will be conducted (longest drives, closest to the pin, closest to the gin etc.).

The Course
Prestwick Golf Club at Wedgewood is one of the Twin Cities' premier public golf courses. The 18-hole, par 72 championship course was ranked as a Top 3 public course experience in Minnesota by the Star Tribune, and is a 4.5-star facility, according to Golf Digest.
