Box Score 2 KENOSHA, Wis. – The Macalester College water polo team played two CWPA matches on Saturday, losing to Austin College and defeating host Carthage College at Koenitzer Aquatic Center. The Scots are now 5-9 overall and 3-3 in the CWPA.

Jess Palmer-Sammons (Half Moon Bay, Calif./Half Moon Bay) scored back-to-back goals to open the third quarter. The Kangaroos answered with three consecutive goals to take a commanding 8-3 advantage. Against Carthage, sophomore
Brooke Lane (Meriden, Conn./Hopkins School) opened the scoring, as Macalester fell behind, 2-1 after one quarter. In the second quarter, Michaud scored twice to give the Scots a 3-2 lead. The Scots wrap up the regular season on Sunday, April 2 with CWPA matches against Augustana College at 9:15 a.m. and Wittenberg University at 1:45 p.m. at Carthage.
