ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College junior
Eleanor Michaud (Long Grove, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) was included on the Division III Women's All-America Team, the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches announced today. Michaud received All-America honorable mention.
Michaud had a major impact for the Scots at both ends of the pool, earning a spot on the All-CWPA first team this spring. She ranked second on the team with 30 goals and 17 assists for 47 points while registering a team-best 73 steals. In a 19-4 victory against Carthage on April 16, Michaud tallied five goals, four assists and five steals to earn CWPA Division III Player and Defensive Player of the Week accolades. She also was named to the CWPA All-Tournament team after compiling four goals, three assists and eight steals over three games. The program's first All-America first team honoree in 2021, Michaud has 47 goals, 43 assists and 113 steals in three years at Macalester.
A biology major at Macalester, Michaud was recently selected to the CoSIDA At-Large Academic All-District 6 team. She also has earned the ACWPC All-Academic Award in 2020 and 2021.
