ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's swimming and diving team won its fourth dual meet of the season Saturday afternoon at Hamline University. The Scots scored 180 points compared to 83 for the Pipers.
Macalester won both relays, with the foursome of first year
Emma Henry (Chesapeake, Va./Oscar Smith), sophomores
Caroline Chapon (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) and
Elizabeth Batsaikhan (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia/East Chapel Hill) and junior
Jocelyn Radke (Indianapolis, Ind.) winning the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:18.71. Radke, sophomore
Anna Rakowski (Vergennes, Vt./Vergennes Union), senior
Malia Borg (Charleston, S.C./Academic Magnet) and first year
Skye Schmit (Stillwater, Minn.) won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:44.81.
Schmit won a pair of individual events, taking the 100-yard freestyle in 56.35 and winning the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:02.21. Sophomore
Sonya Green (Golden, Colo./Lakewood) was Macalester's other two-event winner, as she placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.85 and won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:24.04. Other event winners included sophomore
Olga Merkadeau (Lafayette, Calif./The College Preparatory School) in the 500-yard freestyle (5:46.52), Henry in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.34), Radke in the 50-yard freestyle (25.43) and sophomore
Natalie Pollock (Madison, Wis./Madison West) in the 200-yard butterfly (2:24.72).

Kate Yehle (Madison, Wis./James Madison Memorial) placed second in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Sophomore
Olivia Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Shorewood) was second in both the 100 backstroke and the 200 butterfly, while Chapon placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke and 50 freestyle. Others taking second were senior

Macalester hosts the Roger Ahlman Invitational on Dec. 2-3 in Riley Pool.
