While at Macalester, Glasser helped the Scots win the 2011 MIAC championship with a 16-4 conference record. A two-time All-MIAC infielder and an All-Region selection in 2011, he finished his collegiate career with 180 hits, 95 runs batted in, 109 runs scored and a .357 batting average in 148 games. Glasser, who struck out just four times in 246 at-bats over his final two seasons, made the Jewish Sports Review All-America team twice.
Team Israel will play in Group B with the Republic of Korea and the United States in the six-team Olympic tournament. Group A consists of the Dominican Republic, Japan and Mexico. Israel plays the Republic of Korea on July 29, and the U.S. on July 30.
