Alex Bearden, Baseball
Hometown: St. Louis, Mo.
Major: Economics
Highlights as a Scot: Played in 62 games with 40 starts as an infielder… Transitioned to catcher this season… Hit seven doubles… Served on the baseball leadership team for two years.

Coach Parrington: "Alex worked hard at his game and contributed at shortstop and third base over his first three years. His athleticism and attitude allowed him to transition as a senior to the catching position, a position he was just scratching the surface on. He has a great rapport with teammates on and off the field."

Favorite memory as a Scot: "Of all the great memories I've had as a Scot, winning the MIAC championship as a freshman probably tops them all. Being able to dogpile on the mound after the last out is something I'll never forget."
