MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Macalester College men's swimming and diving team sent two swimmers to compete in the finals on day four of the MIAC Championships.
Sophomore
Ben Blomquist (Las Vegas, Nev./ED W. Clark) placed 13
th and earned a spot in the finals with a time 2:02.25 in the 200 yard butterfly. Sophomore
Tanner Hubbard (Farmington, Minn./Farmington) raced in the final 1650 yard freestyle and placed 14
th overall with a season best time of 17:20.80.
Sophomore
Aiden Williams (Chicago, Ill./Walter Payton College Prep) just missed the cut in the 100 yard freestyle but swam a season best time. Sophomore
Kiran Arquin (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Central) and Sophomore
Daniel Chechelnitsky (Shoreview, Minn./Irondale) swam a season best time in the 100 yard freestyle as well. First year
Benjamin Levy (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Memorial) and Senior
Jayden West (Appleton, Wis./Appleton North) posted personal best times in the 200 yard breaststroke.
The men finished the MIAC Championships by placing seventh out of the eight teams competing.
