MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Macalester men's swimming and diving team took on day two of the MIAC Championships by swimming in a total of three events.
 
Sophomore Tanner Hubbard (Farmington, Minn./Farmington) swam his way into the 500 yard freestyle finals with a prelims time of 4:55.37. Hubbard's time of 4:55.37 happens to be a career best in the 500 yard freestyle. During the finals, Hubbard swam a 4:59.73.
 
First year Benjamin Levy (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Memorial) swam a season best 2:05.02 in the 200 yard IM during the prelims of day two. Sophomore Aiden Williams (Chicago, Ill./Walter Payton College Prep) placed a career best at Macalester by touching the wall in 23.54.
 
The Scots will be competing in day three of the MIAC Championships tomorrow by participating in numerous events. The first event is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m., while the finals events start at 6:30 p.m.
