MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Macalester College men's swimming and diving team took on day one of the MIAC Championships by competing in two relay races.
 
The quartet of sophomore Benjamin Blomquist (Las Vegas, Nev./ED W. Clark), first year Benjamin Levy (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Memorial), senior Jayden West (Appleton, Wis./Appleton North), and sophomore Aiden Williams (Chicago, Ill./Walter Payton College Prep) swam to a seventh place finish in the 200 yard medley relay.
 
Blomquist, Levy, sophomore Tanner Hubbard (Farmington, Minn./Farmington), and Williams touched the wall and earned another seventh place finish in the 800 yard freestyle relay.
 
Tomorrow is day two, and the Scots will compete in four events. The first event starts at 10:30 a.m.
