ERIE, Pa. – The Macalester College water polo team lost a pair of matches at the Collegiate Water Polo Association Regional on Saturday, dropping a 9-3 decision to Grove City, and losing to Washington and Jefferson, 11-7 at the Junker Center Pool. The Scots are now 2-18 on the season.

Lucille Moran (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) and
Yamila Blake-Lazu (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township). But the Scots were out-scored, 7-1 in the final two quarters to fall, 9-3. First year
Natalie Hoffman (Seattle, Wash./Inglemoor) had Macalester's other goal.
In the day's second game, the Scots tied the score at 4-4 at halftime, only to have Washington and Jefferson notch six goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. Moran led the way with five goals, while Hoffman and sophomore
Hannah Gray (Pasadena, Calif./South Pasadena) also found the net.
The Scots conclude play at the CWPA Regional on Sunday, Apr. 2 with matches against Utica College and Washington and Jefferson in Erie, Pa.
