THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Macalester College water polo team fell to California Lutheran University, 11-1 Tuesday night at the Samuelson Aquatics Center. The Scots are now 2-9 on the season, while the Regals improve to 8-12.

Cal Lutheran scored seven unanswered goals in the first quarter to take control, allowing Macalester's lone goal in the second quarter. First year Lucille Moran (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) scored the Scots' goal, while senior Emma Swanson (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ypsilanti) recorded four saves in goal.

Macalester will play a pair of matches at the University of Redlands on Friday, Mar. 18 in Redlands, Calif.
