ST. PAUL, Minn. – Two goals early in the second half proved to be the difference as the Macalester College women's soccer team earned an important MIAC win, 2-1 over Carleton at Bell Field. The Scots are now 6-2-4 overall and 4-1-3 in the conference, while the Knights fall to 6-7-1, 4-4 MIAC.

The Scots held a slight 15-12 advantage in shots for the game. Sophomore goalkeeper
Emma Toomer (Leesburg, Va./Loudon County) started for Macalester and made three saves, while Wilson-King played the final 59 minutes and made four saves. Carleton's Mikayla Coulombe registered seven saves.
The Scots host Luther in a non-league contest on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The game is scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start.
