The Foresters added an insurance goal with 7:54 to play when Kayla Wuest settled a ball at the top of the crease and shot home her first goal of the season off of the left post.
Emma Toomer made six saves for the Scots, who were outshot 10-4 in the second half and 18-13 for the game.
Macalester takes to the road for the first time in 2014 next weekend when the Scots travel to Decorah, Iowa, to face Luther College at 2 p.m.
