Gustavus Adolphus toppled Macalester in an MIAC doubleheader Saturday in St. Peter, winning the first game 11-4 and taking game two 6-4.  The Scots drop to 15-13 on the season and 5-7 in the MIAC.  Gustavus advances to 16-12 overall, 10-4 in the conference.
 
The Gusties quickly took control of the opening, cross the plate eight times in the bottom of the first inning and holding the guests to four hits the rest of the way to maintain control.  Accounting for all four Mac hits were Saraswati Wilson (Jr., Olathe, Kan. / Northwest) and Abby Cox (So., Fort Worth, Tex. / Fort Worth Country Day) with two hits apiece.  They each drove in a pair of runs.
 
Wilson was 2-for-4 with a couple runs scored and one driven in in the nightcap and leads the Scots with a .434 average on the season.  Cox and Miranda Stokes (Jr., Perry, Utah / Box Elder) also drove in runs for Macalester. 
 
The Scots play Tuesday (April 22) at St. Olaf.
