Playing a makeup match from March 16 in upstate New York, Macalester played host to Utica (N.Y.) Friday night at the Leonard Center and cruised to an 11-3 victory.
 
Goalkeeper Anya Phillips (So., Geneva, Fla. / Oviedo) recorded seven saves to lead the strong defensive effort, and also assisted on four Mac goals.  The leading Macalester goal-producer was Maggie McKenna (So., Palo Alto, Calif. / Henry Gunn) with three scores, while contributed two goals apiece were Adrienne Burgin (Jr., Walnut Creek, Calif. / Acalanes), Sarah Shoemaker (Jr., Saratoga, Calif. / St. Francis) and Rachel Harrington-Abrams (Sr., Berkeley, Calif.).
 
Chloe Kaulas (Sr., Chicago, Ill. / Latin School) gave the Scots four steals and two assists.
 
The Scots host the CWPA conference tournament Saturday and Sunday (April 12-13).  The No. 5-seeded Scots take on No. 4 Grove City (Pa.) Saturday at 11:40 a.m. and then will have two more games over the weekend.
