Macalester played six games against top-quality opponents in California to wrap up its Spring Break competition following a tournament earlier in the week in New York, and went 1-5 on the trip. The team's victory came at the hands of Caltech (6-3), while Macalester suffered losses to Cal State East Bay (15-4), Washington & Jefferson (12-4), Cal State San Bernadino (15-6), Chapman (15-4) and LaVerne 13-6.
In the team's lone win, the Scots were led by goalkeeper

Chloe Kaulas (Sr., Chicago, Ill. / Latin School) netted a pair of goals in this defensive-minded game, while added one marker each were
Maggie McKenna (So., Palo Alto, Calif. / Henry Gunn),
Rachel Harrington-Abrams (Sr., Berkeley, Calif.),
