Macalester's
Miranda Stokes (So., Perry, Utah / Box Elder) homered in each game, and hit for the cycle and picked up the pitching win in the nightcap as the Scots took a pair of Martin Luther at the Rosemount Dome, winning the opener 13-3 and taking the nightcap 11-2.
Both were five-inning affairs as Mac collected 28 hits in nine innings at the plate, including eight doubles, a triple, and four home runs.
On the day, Stokes was 5-for-6 with two homers and six runs driven in.
Cleo Nagy (Jr., Eugene, Ore. / Henry D. Sheldon) also homered in each game and was 4-for-7 with seven RBI.
Courtney Nussbaumer (Sr., Brookfield, Wis. / East) was 5-for-7 with five RBI. Collecting four hits each were
Anna Munson (So., La Crosse, Wis. / Central) and
Alisha Barritt (Jr., Oklahoma City, Okla. / Bethany).
Mac's 10-game Spring Break trip to Clermont, Florida, begins Saturday (March 16) with games against Oswego State (N.Y.) and New England College (N.H.).
