A pair of MIAC sides with 4-2 league records collided on a cool and wet Tuesday night in St. Paul, and it was the home team rolling to a decisive 4-0 victory.
Georgia Cloepfil (Sr., Portland, Ore. / Lincoln) tallied her team-best ninth and 10th goals of the season and two teammates added a single goal apiece as the Scots extend their winning streak to five matches and improve to 8-3-1 overall, 5-2 in the MIAC. Mac is tied with St. Benedict at 5-2 for second place in the MIAC standings, behind only Concordia (6-1-1).
Carleton drops to 6-7-1 overall and 4-3 in MIAC action.

Ingrid Greene (Jr., Madison, Wis. / Memorial) and netted her seventh of the year at 19:26 to open the scoring. Just after the halftime break, in the 48th minute, Macalester made it 2-0 when
Georgia Cloepfil took advantage of a Gale pass and scored her ninth of the year.
Cloepfil's 10th goal of the season and 30th of her outstanding Macalester career came at 59:08 and was assisted by
Margaret Nemetz (Jr., Ann Arbor, Mich. / Pioneer). Cloepfil is the seventh Macalester women's soccer play to record 30 career goals. Late in the match – at 87:25 – Macalester tallied its fourth and final goal when

Hannah Walker (Jr., Falls Church, Va. / George Mason) for her first score of the season.
Macalester out-shot Carleton 22-4 and had 14 shots on goal, compared to just one for CC.
