Macalester hosted St. Olaf and Augsburg in an MIAC double dual meet Saturday at the Leonard Center Riley Pool and gained six first-place finishes. St. Olaf beat Macalester 169-114, and Mac beat Augsburg 211-38.
A pair of Scots each gained two first-place finishes to lead the way.
Maggie McKenna (Fy., Palo Alto, Calif. / Henry Gunn) won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.40) and 200 breast (2:38.53).
Renee Jordan (Jr., Anchorage, Alaska / Steller Secondary School) placed first in both diving events, winning on the 1-meter board with an NCAA-qualifying 260.65 mark and on the 3-meter board with a 242.30 score.
Suzanne Oh (Sr., Waukesha, Wis.) reached the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:05.07) and the Scots also received a winning performance from the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:46.81) behind the efforts of Jordan,
Maggie Joyce (So., Dunwoody, Ga.),
Christina Bloom (Fy., Henderson, Nev. / Coronado) and
Alese Halvorson (So., Maple Grove, Minn. / Wayzata).
Halvorson claimed three runner-up individual finishes, taking second in the 50 freestyle (25.97), 100 freestyle (55.99) and 100 butterfly (1:03.92).
Kendall Van Sistine (Fy., Oshkosh, Wis. / Lourdes) took second in the 100 backstroke (1:06.04).
Hunter Hedenberg (Fy., Newton, Mass. / North) was runner-up to Jordan in 1-meter diving (207.50) and 3-meter diving (212.60).
The Scots are back in the pool next Friday and Saturday (Jan. 18-19) at the Grinnell (Ia.) Invitational.
