Macalester won three of its four games, including the fifth-place contest, Friday and Saturday at the CWPA Division III championships in Grove City, Pa.

Bouncing back from a 6-3 first-round setback to Connecticut College, the Scots followed Friday night by toppling Penn State-Behrend 12-4 and Chatham (Pa.) 17-7 to reach Saturday's fifth-place game.

On Saturday, Macalester defeated Carthage (Wis.) 10-4 to finish the season with a 10-12 record.
