Macalester vs. Chapman box score

Macalester played its final Spring Break game in the Southern California area, taking on Chapman. 

Chapman led 7-3 at the halftime intermission and went on to claim the victory by a 17-8 tally.  The Scots went 1-7 in California.

Catherine Flint (Sr., Palo Alto, Calif. / Henry Gunn) led the attack for the Scots, providing three goals, an assist and two steals.  Adding two goals apiece were Anya Phillips (Fy., Geneva, Fla. / Oviedo) and Adrienne Burgin.  Burgin also contributed two assists, two steals and three ejections drawn. 

Chloe Kaulas (So., Chicago, Ill. / Latin School) and Phillips split time in goal.  Kaulas had seven saves and Phillips added five.  Kaulas also scored a goal and assisted on another.

The Scots head to the Pittsburgh area this weekend for five matches.  They will play Friday (March 17) in Washington, Pa., against Washington & Jefferson (Pa.), Wheaton (Ill.), and Grove City (Pa.).  Mac then plays Saturday (March 18) in Pittsburgh against Carthage (Wis.) and Chatham (Pa.).
