Macalester vs. St. Benedict statistics

Macalester's MIAC season got off to a winning stat as the Scots gained their fourth 1-0 victory in five games, beating the St. Benedict Blazers in St. Joseph in double overtime.

Rosie Glenn-Finer (Jr., San Francisco, Calif. / Lick Wilmerding) turned away six shots on goal for her fourth shutout, lowering her goals against average to 0.37. Maggie Molter (So., Cedarburg, Wis.) netted the game's only match in the 106th minute, scoring on a corner kick off a pass from Hannah Walker (Fy., Falls Church, Va. / George Mason).

Macalester goes to 4-1 on the season, 1-0 in the MIAC. The Blazers drop to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in league play.

The Scots look to make it two in a row in the MIAC when they play Saturday night (Sept. 17) at Augsburg.
