Macalester played five games Friday and Saturday at the College Water Polo Association (CWPA) West at Central Tournament held at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Scots dropped their five games, falling to Grove City (Pa.), Wheaton (Ill.) 10-5, Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) 10-8, Carthage 17-9 and Chatham (Pa.) 9-5.

The team's closest contest was a two-goal defeat to Washington & Jefferson.

The Scots host the CWPA Conference tourney April 29-30 at the Leonard Natatorium. Macalester plays a first round match with Penn State-Behrend. The tournament field is made up of No. 1 seed Carthage, No. 2 Grove City, No. 3 Wheaton, No. 4 Washington & Jefferson, No. 5 Chatham, No. 6 Connecticut College, No. 7 Utica (N.Y.) No. 8 PSU-Behrend and No. 9 Macalester.
