Macalester vs. St. Olaf box scores: Game 1 | Game 2

Finally playing on their home field for the first time this season, the Scots struggled to hit the ball and were swept by St. Olaf 7-0 and 9-1.

The Oles jumped out quickly in both games, leading 5-0 after two frames in the opener and 7-1 after two innings in game two. St. Olaf pitchers allowed just four hits on the day.

Leadoff hitter Lily Alexander (Fy., Takoma Park, Md. / Montgomery Blair) went 1-for-3 in each game for the Scots and scored Mac's lone run in the first inning of the nightcap on an RBI double to right field by team batting leader Cleo Nagy (Fy., Eugene, Ore. / Henry D. Sheldon).

Macalester (7-13 on the season) plays a non-conference doubleheader tomorrow against Bethany Lutheran in Mankato. The team returns to MIAC play Wednesday (April 13) at Bethel.
