Macalester netted four second-half goals and improved to 2-0 on the young season, beating Northwestern-Roseville 5-0 in the team's home-opener. The team's five goals in the most since a 6-0 win early in the '05 season over St. Scholastica.

Macalester out-shot the Eagles 19-4 and have two shutouts in two games.
The Scots face one of the nation's top programs Sunday (Sept. 5) when they host No. 7-ranked Loras (Ia.) at 3 p.m. Loras eliminated Macalester in the second round of last year's NCAA Division III playoffs.
