Macalester vs. Gustavus box scores: Game 1 | Game 2

After being denied a chance for its second straight league title yesterday when they were swept by St. Thomas in a pair of heartbreakers, Gustavus took out its frustrations by sweeping Macalester 11-0 and 7-0 in St. Peter, holding the Scots to just a couple hits in each game.

Olivia Abbott (Sr., Lakewood, Colo. / Green Mountain) accounted for two of Macalester's four hits on the day and had a double in game two.

Gustavus leadoff batter Lisa Klass was 5-for-6 on the day to lead Gustavus, while four pitchers accounted for 17 strikeouts in 12 innings.

Mac's season winds down Saturday (May 1) when it hosts No. 24-ranked and conference-leading St. Thomas at 6 p.m.
