Macalester vs. Simpson statistics

Simpson snapped Macalester's four-match winning streak by scoring in the 87th minute to topple the Scots 1-0 in Indianola, Ia. With their final non-conference game in the books, the Scots are now 5-4-1 overall. Simpson goes to 3-3-2.

Simpson's Connor Skultety netted the game-winner at 86:35 as the Storm claimed victory despite a 7-0 Macalester corner kick advantage. Macalester had five shots on goal, including two each by Jeremy Carp(So., Portland, Ore. / Oregon Episcopal School) and Taylor Rasmussen (Fy., Eagan, Minn. / Eastview).

From here on in, it is all MIAC competition for the Scots, who are 2-0 in league play. Next up is a match Wednesday (Sept. 30) at Carleton.
