Macalester vs. St. Olaf statistics
St. Olaf swept Macalester 25-14, 25-14 and 25-19 in an MIAC match Tuesday night at the Leonard Center to improve to 13-2 on the season. The Oles attacked at a .290 clip on the evening. St. Olaf is 1-1 in the MIAC. Macalester is now 6-8 overall and 0-2 in the MIAC.
The Scots were led by
Glasha Marcon (Fy., Richmond, Calif. / Albany) with 11 digs, while
Majra Mucic (Jr., Zenica, Bosnia / St. Louis Park – Minn.) contributed six kills.
Kiera Coulter (Jr., Davis, Calif.) served three of her team's five aces and
Erin Cusac (Sr., Pine River, Minn. / Pine River-Backus) had five kills and three blocks.
Macalester's setting chores were split between
Danielle Dweck (So., Sea Cliff, N.Y. / North Shore) with 12 assists and
Steffanie Fisher (Fy., Lindenhurst, Ill. / Lakes Community) with 11.
Kim Smisek led St. Olaf with 17 kills, while Kelly Prunty handed out 32 assists.
The Scots are off until next Tuesday (Sept. 29) when they travel to Moorhead to challenge No. 17-ranked Concordia.
