Erin Cusac is a 5'6” outside hitter and defensive whiz who from Pine River, Minnesota . Erin was an outside hitter and outstanding player at Pine River-Backus High School, where she was captain and MVP of her team. Her team won the section championship in 2004 and 2005 and advanced to the Minnesota State High School tournament in each of those years. Erin also earned Brainerd Lakes Area Player of the Year honors both as a junior and senior. In addition to high school volleyball, Erin has played for the Club Adidas Heartland North program and was captain of her team this past season.

“Do not be fooled by Erin's height, she has springs in her legs and a 28-inch vertical jump,” says Coach Schleuder. “In addition to being a great defensive player, we expect her to see a lot of front row action,” Schleuder adds.

Academically, Erin was named to the National Society for High School Scholars and was a constant member of the Pine River-Backus Honor Roll. She was also inducted into the National Honor Society. Erin is touring Europe this summer with her French class and hopes to major in French while combining it with another complimentary degree. She is the daughter of Dave and Kathy Cusac.
