Grove City (Pa.) beat Macalester 7-4 and Cal State East Bay topped the Scots 10-6 in the second of two days of play at the Collegiate III national tournament in Thousand Oaks, California.
The Scots, who are 0-4 in this national championship event for Division III schools, will play early tomorrow morning at California Lutheran University in the seventh-place game against Grove City.

Sarah Ellerton (Jr., Suffield, Conn. / Suffield Academy) and
Catherine Anderson (Fy., Palo Alto, Calif. / Henry Gunn).
Grove City led by a slim 3-2 margin at the halftime break and scored the only two goals of the third period to take control.
Ellerton scored three times and Anderson netted two goals against Cal State East Bay. Eder also scored for the Scots and Shaw had seven saves. East Bay led 4-1 after the first quarter and was never threatened.
