The Scots played their toughest opponent on their Spring Break trip, losing to No. 2-ranked Occidental 14-5 in Los Angeles. Oxy led 7-4 at halftime and surrendered just a single second half Macalester goal.

Catherine Anderson (Fy., Palo Alto, Calif. / Henry Gunn) and Sarah Ellerton (Jr., Suffield, Conn. / Suffield Academy) each tallied two goals for Macalester and Claire Eder (So., Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township) added one score.

Sofia Shaw (Sr., Tacoma, Wash. / Stadium) turned away nine Occidental shots on goal.
