Macalester vs. Crown statistics

The Scots picked up their second win in as many matches so far this season when they swept Crown 3-0 at Carleton College in Northfield. Game scores were 25-17, 26-24 and 25-12.

Mac spiked at a .274 rate and used a balanced hitting attack, led by Sonia Muzikarova (Bratislava, Slovakia / Gymnazium Bilikova) with 12 kills and Majra Mucic (Zenica, Bosnia / St. Louis Park (Minn.)) with 10. Mucic also served four aces on the match. Teammate Taylor Tinkham (Fy., St. Louis Park, Minn.) spiked eight kills. Together, Muzikarova, Mucic and Tinkham had just five hitting errors while attacking at a .472 clip.

Danielle Dweck (Fy., Glen Head, N.Y. / North Shore) handed out 35 assists in the three games, while also contributing eight digs. Marie Godwin (Jr., Chaska, Minn.) also had a good match, finishing with a team-high 13 digs to go along with four serving aces.

The Scots are off until next weekend's Sept. 5-6 Augsburg Invitational across the river in Minneapolis. They'll play matches with UW-Eau Claire, Schreiner (Tex.), Augsburg and one other opponent.
