Leading the Scots to wins in two of five games, goalkeeper Sofia Shaw (Sr., Tacoma, Wash. / Stadium) had a strong week against the U of Minnesota club team and during the first four games of Spring Break week in Southern California against Whittier, La Verne, California Lutheran and Chapman. Shaw had 14 saves, a steal and an assist in Macalester’s 11-7 victory over the U of M and led the Scots to an 8-4 win over La Verne, produced 14 saves and a couple steals. In five games for the week, Shaw registered 73 saves (14.6 per game) while sacrificing just 8.6 goals per game.
