Majra Mucic (Sr., Zenica, Bosnia / St. Louis Park – Minn.) helped lead the Scots to key MIAC wins last week over St. Benedict and Hamline as the Scots stay in the race for the conference playoffs at 10-10. Mucic, who is ranked first in the league in rebounding and third in scoring, netted 17 points and matched a career high with 16 rebounds Wednesday (Feb. 9) as the Scots beat St. Ben’s 72-58 for their first win against the Blazers since 1995. She then went 10-for-17 from the floor on Saturday (Feb. 12) and finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season in a 76-70 win over visiting Hamline. Mucic also collected six steals against the Pipers and is now second in the MIAC in thefts.
