Macalester College Athletics

Nick Meerson (Sr., Los Angeles, Calif. / Harvard-Westlake) came out of the bullpen Monday (March 5) and started Friday (March 9), picking up both Macalester wins on the week.  Meerson tossed scoreless sixth and seventh innings and picked up the decision against Wisconsin-Superior at the Metrodome.  He then started the team’s first game on its Spring Break trip in Arizona on Friday and defeated a highly-touted Coe (Ia.) team 7-3, giving up six hits for the complete game victory.
