Forward Georgia Cloepfil (So., Portland, Ore. / Lincoln) scored the game’s only goal in the 87th minute as the women’s soccer team handed Hamline its first defeat of the season. Cloepfil broke away free down the middle of the Piper defense and received a well-time long pass from teammate Izzi Speer, and between the goalkeeper to the lower left corner.
