Earned a spot on the MIAC All-Academic team… Named to the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team… Paced the team in both points and kills, collecting 219.5 points on the year and 200 kills… Recorded 31 blocks on the season, averaging 0.33 blocks per set… Picked up 52 digs throughout the season… Reached double-digit kills in seven different matches… Had a season-high 14 kills against Grinnell on Sept. 15… Tallied a season-best four blocks against both Finlandia on Oct. 5 and Hamline on Oct. 27.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because I valued the school's high academic standards. I knew that the small class sizes and wide variety of courses would be conducive to my academic goals and fit with my learning style. The environment seemed relaxed but also very focused on learning and allowing people to expand their horizons.
 
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a part of the Macalester Volleyball program has strongly influenced the
way I face challenges and helped me with time management. I am more successful academically due to the skills and support that athletics have provided me.
