Why I chose Macalester:
I was looking for a smaller liberal arts school where I could play volleyball. Macalester gave me that opportunity. I also was attracted to its international focus and felt that it would surround me with a lot of new types of thinking and people.

What Macalester has meant to me:
I've really enjoyed my experience at Macalester. I feel like I've learned a lot and been able to grow as a person.

How Macalester Volleyball has shaped me as an individual:
My experience has allowed me to try new things and step out of my comfort zone. It taught me to work hard to be better in both athletics and school. I feel as if I have learned to be a better teammate and more responsible student.
