Majra Mucic is a 6'0'' middle hitter from St. Louis Park High School in the Twin Cities . Mucic will be a three-sport athlete for the Scots, also competing on the basketball and track teams. Her family came to the United States from Bosnia , where her mom was a professional volleyball player. A three-sport athlete at St. Louis Park , she competed in volleyball, basketball and track and field. In volleyball she was a two-time team MVP and captain, and was named to the All-Conference first team as a senior. She earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a sophomore and junior. Mucic led her team in blocking each of her four years and during her junior year she finished second in Minnesota in blocks per game. As a basketball player for St. Louis Park , she earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a junior and senior and led the team in rebounds each of those years. She led the Orioles in steals for three straight years and earned awards for Most Improved Player and Team Player. Mucic was voted captain of the basketball team. Finally in track, Mucic competed in the triple jump, where she was a three-time All-Conference performer, two-time Section runner-up, and participated in the state championships twice. During her junior year she was one of the top 10 triple jumpers in Minnesota . She was also a two-time captain for the track and field team. Academically, Mucic is graduating with High Honors and was a two-time Academic All-Conference and All-State selection. She plans a double major in International Studies and Economics. She is the daughter of Zlata and Edin Mucic.
