Appeared in 58 sets over 22 matches… Recorded 14 points, 12 service aces, two assists, and 107 digs… Totaled 11 digs against Gustavus on Sept 21.

2021
Played in 23 sets over 13 matches for the Scots... Made two service aces in the 2021 season... Registered 35 digs including a season high of 11 against Concordia on Oct. 9.

2020
Played in nine sets in three matches for the Scots... Led the team in digs per set with 3.44... Named MIAC Defensive Player of the Week.

2019
Played in all 25 matches as a defensive specialist for the Scots… Schoen tallied five kills, 46 assists, and 16 serve assists… Recorded a team high 414 digs, which was ninth in the conference while averaging a MIAC sixth best 4.93 digs per set… Totaled a season high 31 digs to help defeat Crown on Sept. 14. 

Before Mac
Led her team to both a conference and regional championship… Member of the National Honor Society… Earned Academic High Honors.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester College because of the close community environment and strong academic opportunities. Also, I loved how welcoming the volleyball team is and the awesome coaching staff.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Mac has meant getting a great education while also playing the sport that I love.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete has taught me time management and how to prioritize my work in order to be most efficient. It has also taught me to be determined and ambitious when working towards goals.
