Macalester College Athletics

Jacqueline White is a 5'7” outside hitter from Citrus High School in Inverness, Florida. As a senior White was a candidate for the St. Petersburg Times volleyball Player of the Year honors and was voted co-captain of her Citrus team. She played for Nature Coast AAU volleyball club out of Crystal River, Florida, and was also named to the United States Army Scholar-Athlete team in 2007. White is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Citrus High School and in 2007 earned recognition as one of the Florida Department of Education Talented Twenty. She was named the High School Student of the Year by the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Citrus County. White logged over 200 hours of community service as a volunteer. She also enjoys the piano and has been a soloist for over twelve years. Jackie plans to major in International Studies with a minor in Economics. She is the daughter of Mercedia White and Willie White.
