Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because of its twin-cities location, its academic reputation, and the opportunity to play volleyball.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Macalester has meant complete freedom to explore, both academically and personally. I've made amazing friends and met brilliant mentors here; I wouldn't change it for the world.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has helped me hone my communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills. It's helped me recognize the importance of addressing and creating space for mental health. Finally, the process of healing from injuries in my time here has made me a more resilient person.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
As a student-athlete at Mac, I've strengthened my time management skills and learned how to balance my priorities.
